Seven Forms (Geraldton ’26) and Badimia on Country come together to explore place, culture and change in the MidWest.
Seven Forms features seven established WA artists whose new works respond to local ecologies, climate pressures and the growing influence of human technologies, including artificial intelligence. Created with a strong awareness of Yamatji Country, the works imagine how people and environment remain deeply connected during a time of rapid transformation.
Badimia on Country presents artists from the Wirnda Barna Art Centre in Mount Magnet. Through painting, story and cultural expression, they honour Badimia heritage and the responsibility of carrying culture forward. For Badimia people, Country is family, memory and identity — a living connection that continues to evolve.
